Yoga Storytime 

This term, Yoga Storytime will be moving to a brand new day! We will be re-commencing in Week 2 of Term 3, from 3.30–4.30pm on TUESDAYS.

My Journey by Lloyd Hornsby

My Journey by Lloyd Hornsby

Lloyd Gawura Hornsby is a Koori (descendant of the New South Wales Aboriginal Yuin people). At the age of 68, his learning is continuing today through the discovery of Aboriginal Culture and life. 

His journey into the future is reflected in his latest series of paintings ‘Salt water People’.

Conversations in English Chinchilla

Conversations in English Classes (Chinchilla) are held every Wednesday from 1.30 - 3pm at the Chinchilla Library. Conversations in English (CinE) is an award-winning, free friendship group for those who have English as a second language.

Is English your second (or third, or fourth) language? Or are you a natural speaker wanting to help those new to our language? If so, please come along to our Conversations in English Classes. Gardening Australia July

There are plenty of things to do in the garden in July! Prune your roses this month by reducing the growth by one to two thirds; they may look sad for a short while but they will come back with vigor. Page 66 gives you  a diagram to follow.  Fruit trees will thank you for a prune and attention to the soil is a must, for an abundant fruit harvest.

Add some winter-flowering native shrubs for that extra colour in the garden. Spread compost or well-aged manure around your plants to prepare them for flowering in the coming months. Read more...
