August in your town

August is Seniors Month……  Go to your local library and see what activities are planned for you this month.  Things like online scrapbooking and photobooks, Grandparents Storytime, a gardening workshop, and a luncheon organised by council.

August 1 —  Baby Rhyme time with Karen at the library at 10am.

August 2 —  Online scrapbooking and photobooks workshop at the library from 10am – 12pm.  Morning tea supplied. Book early, 8 places available.

August 8 —  Wandoan Creative Sewers meet in the club room from 9.30am – 3pm. Bring your lunch and current project and spend the day with the girls.

August 8  — Bookclub members meet in the library from 3.30pm for afternoon tea and to discuss our most recent book, The Darcy Cousins by Monica Fairview.

August 12 —  Photo preservation station will be here at the library until Friday 6 September.  Bring in slides, negatives and prints and transfer them to a USB stick to store or print.  Ring Karen or Chris and book yourself some time with the machine.

August 15 —  Baby Rhyme time with Karen at the library at 10am.

August 15 —  Drone Workshop at the Wandoan State School at 10am.

August 21 — Grandparents Storytime session at the library at 10am.

August 22 —   Wandoan Senior Citizens travel to Taroom for luncheon.

August 30 —  Michael Wells Gardening Workshop at the Cultural Centre Courtyard starting at 10am.
