Climate Extremes

Our region has experienced many extremes in weather in recent years with record breaking droughts, temperatures and floods.  Flood Horror and Tragedy is a lasting momento documenting the trials and tragedies experiences by Queenslanders in the extraordinary summer of 2010-2011.  Here we are, eight years later, experiencing the other extreme, one of our worst droughts in history.  For many of us the familiar (or unfamiliar) sound of rain is a beautiful sound, but for those who experienced the floods of 2010-2011, the sound triggers a chilling sense of sadness.  This […]

The Jungle Animals are coming to Jandowae
