The benefits of listening to audiobooks are extensive…

Children love books and laughter!

Extra computer lessons have been added

August is Seniors Month in the Western Downs. Our Libraries are celebrating our seniors by providing digital technology lessons across the regions. Due to popular demand Dalby Library has added extra computer lessons next week. They will be held Tuesday 28 August 2018 and Wednesday 29 August 2018 at 10.00am to 12.00pm. Pop-up Play Space in Dalby Library

A pop-up play space has arrived in Dalby as part of a touring installation supported by State Library of Queensland. Western Downs Libraries is one of only five Queensland libraries selected to participate in the first stage of the initiative, with other play spaces popping up in Strathpine, Cannonvale, Rockhampton and Townsville. Dalby Library is open

We love Dalby Library and want the best facilities possible for our patrons, however, this sometimes means that maintenance needs to be completed. As you maybe aware our car park is currently being resurfaced, however, the library is open and operating as normal. Access to the car park is through the Orpen Street entrance. We apologise for any inconvenience this may be causing and we look forward to opening our revamped car park soon.

First Lego League at Dalby Library!

Save the date… Registrations for Dalby Term 1 2018 will open on Monday 8 January at 10am, and the program will start Wednesday 7 February 2018.
