Better Homes and Gardens February

Take your home and gardens from drab to fab this Feb with a little help from Better Homes!

How great is wallpaper?  Change the look of a room in an afternoon with a range of fun designs. You can get wallpaper in anything from a tropical scene of lush ferns and large leaf plants to a room of strawberry fields. With wallpaper, the wall is just a blank canvas. Take a few minutes to enjoy what wallpaper can do for a room; flick to page 14–21 for inspiration.  Not sure of wallpaper….pages 22–26 may be for you.  If you’re looking for something simple but effective, try a darker shade of navy paint on the ceiling with white walls.  Or, try a lighter wall with a dark trim. Looking for a modern twist on a headboard? Try a painted panel for a head board with a reading light fitted to wall.  Change the color to suit the mood or the season.

Is storage a problem in your home? Wish you had some smart ideas to help solve the problem? Pages 28–33 will show you how flat packs units might just be the storage solution you’ve been looking for.

Adapt your backyard to the dry Aussie climate.  Build yourself your own desert oasis. With just a bit of imagination you can create the perfect place.  Check out Page 39–41  for ideas.

Wow your guests at your next party with a range of platters to suit all your guests, from omnivores to vegans. Create sweet or savoury dishes to keep your guests fed and coming back for more. Check out Page 66–75 for ingredient lists and display inspiration to use when assembling your next platter.

Do you own a wok you never use?  Time to bust it out of the cupboard to whip up some quick and easy meals.  See page 76–86 for a collection of low-carb, fresh and delicious recipes the whole family will love.

Take some time and relax the body and give the brain a workout. You’ll find pages and pages of puzzles starting from Page 157.

This edition is full life hacks from craft projects, hair care, better health, places to travel, gardening tips, building projects, delicious food, finance tips and whats out in new reads.
