Come and join us in Thomas Jack Park for Storytime! We’re taking Storytime to the park on Tuesday 20 February at 10.30am. Please bring your favourite teddy, wear a hat, and bring a water bottle.
Please note: This will take the place of Storytime for Kids at Dalby Library on Tuesday 20 February only. In the event of wet weather, Storytime will go ahead at the library as usual.
Storytime is a wonderful way to introduce your child to books and reading. It allows children under 5 to hear rhymes, stories and language, and broaden their creativity and imagination.
Story Time sessions are held each week starting at 10.30 am. Parents, grandparents, carers and friends are very welcome.
Why it’s important? Did you know that up to 90% of a child’s brain development happens in the first 5 years? Research is now telling us that when babies and children get what they need – it can have a lasting effect on their future. Sharing stories, rhymes, singing, talking and playing with your child from birth builds a foundation for your child’s future development that can last a lifetime. Dalby Library offers Storytime sessions for all ages!
These sessions are fun, free, and delivered by trained staff!
It’s never to early to Read, Talk, Play, Sing!
