Your baby needs the best start possible.
Chinchilla, Dalby and Wandoan Libraries will begin Storytime for Bubs in February.
During our Storytime for Bubs sessions we sing lots of songs, share stories, and introduce learning games and sensory experiences. Storytime is a friendly and relaxed session with the aim of encouraging your baby’s development and supporting you in being your child’s first and most important teacher.
Did you know that 90%of a child’s brain development happens in the first 5 years? Sharing stories and rhymes, signs, talking and playing with your child from birth, builds a foundation for your child’s future development that can last a lifetime.
Here’s your excuse to get out of the house, make some new friends, and encourage your baby’s development.
Chinchilla Library – 9.30am every Thursday, 28 February – 4 April
Dalby Library – 9.15am every Wednesday, 27 February – 3 April
Wandoan Library – 10am, first and third Thursday of every month, starting 7 February
Storytime for Bubs is aimed at ages 0-12 months. Sessions are fun, free, and delivered by trained staff.
It’s never too early to Read, Play, Sing and Talk.
