Keep indigenous languages alive. The Aboriginal language spoken in the Dalby area is the Barrunggam language. Barrunggam is also spelt as Barungam, Barrungama or Parrungoom as well as referred to as Murrumgama or Murrumningama – this may in fact refer to a dialect or regional variation as there are a couple of known dialects within Barunggam, including Bunyinni which was spoken on Jimbour Station. The benefits of listening to audiobooks are extensive…
