1 million children reading all at once

Would you like to join them? Every year on 22 May a picture book, written and illustrated by an Australian author and illustrator, is simultaneously read in libraries, schools, pre-schools, childcare centres, family homes, bookshops and many other places around the country. This year the wonderful book Alpacas with Maracas by Matt Cosgrove has been chosen. Storytime for Kids at Tara

Singing through Storytime

Regular Storytime sessions are one of our favourite activities at the library! Each Storytime session comprises of four elements – Read, Sing, Play and Talk. Singing is definitely the favourite element at Dalby Library and children’s laughter can be heard throughout the library each Tuesday morning as the parachute, shakers or bean bags make their appearance.
