What’s on in Jandowae this August

August is an exciting month here at Jandowae.  There is something for everyone, no matter your age.  We celebrate seniors week in August with a variety of events.

Tuesday 6 August: Rag Rug Making at the Jandowae Library (bookings now closed)

Wednesday 7 August: Online Scrapbooking session at Jandowae Library, 10am

Wednesday 7 August: Storytime with Grandparents at Jandowae Library, 10am

Friday 9 August: Drone Coding Workshop. STEM Punks visit Jandowae Prep-10 State School for search and rescue drone coding.

Sunday 11 August: Jandowae Music Jamming, 12:30 – 5pm. Jandowae Memorial Hall, gold coin donation.  Please bring a plate to share.

Wednesday 14 August: Storytime at Jandowae Library 10am

Wednesday 21 August: Seniors Trivia and free morning tea at Jandowae Library, 9:30am

Wednesday 21 August: Storytime with Grandparents at Jandowae Library, 10am

Saturday 24 August: Lifeline and RHEalth present “Sound Minds” with Brendon Walmsley. A family friendly music event, 6pm at the Jandowae Memorial Hall.  Drinks and food available. Funded by Queensland Health.
