Activities at the Library

Do you have cabin fever? Are you looking for activities to keep you socially and mentally active? The Dalby Library has you covered!

Your local library has a range of fun activities for the whole family. This includes storytimes, playstation, workshops and so much more!

Storytime:

Storytimes at the library engages children with singing, reading and creating. It is a wonderful opportunity for children to make friends, and parents to make important connections with other

We run two convenient sessions every week:

Tuesdays 9:30-10:30 am

Thursdays 9:30-10:30 am

Bookings are essential!

 

Media Lounge:

The media lounge has a range of games including Playstation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch and the Wii.

Book the lounge for an hour of fun over the phone or at the front counter.

Dalby Writers Club:

Chat about writing, share tips, supportive critiques, gripes, hopes and nudge each other on. The club engages, nurtures and supports local authors in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

 Dalby Writers Club meets at Dalby Library on the second Thursday of every month.

Join in and book your spot online.

Crochet Crazy:

If you’re an old hand at creating marvelous masterpieces with a crotchet hook or if you are a trepid beginner, join the crochet crazy club.

This group meets at the Dalby library every second Friday for coffee, tea, a light snack and friendly conversations.

Book your spot online and bring along your own projects or start something new.

 

 

 

 

There’s no need to sit at home bored out of your brain, there are plenty of activities at the Dalby Library to keep you entertained. No matter your age, the Dalby Library has something for you! Refer to the What’s On tab on our Home Page for more activity options.
