What is it?
The Oxford Dictionary of National Biography is an online database where you can find resources and information about the people who shaped British history. The site contains over 60,000 biographies, 72 million words and 11,000 portraits of significant, influential and notorious figures.
How can I access it?
1. If you haven’t already, create an account with the State Library of Queensland (SLQ). Remember to take note of your username and password.
2. Visit Oxford Dictionary of National Biography and login with your SLQ username and password to start your search.
