Polymer Clay Earrings Workshop

Jandowae Library kicked off the New Year with a summer holiday Polymer Clay Earrings workshop. Delivered in partnership with guest presenter, Jaime from Jaime Walsh Creations and her assistant Cheryl. The attendees learnt to roll, sculpt, build slabs and create their own DIY polymer clay earrings.  In less than 2 hours the participants created up to 4 individual sets of earrings, including a mix of stud and drop backs in this fun and creative workshop.

The earrings were all personalised by their creators.  Earring shapes included horse shoes, cowboy boots, puppy dogs, cow horns, hearts, moons, leaves, flowers and the simple but beautiful circular, square, hexagon and oval designs. The polymer clay came in bright vibrant colours allowing for some summer fun designs. Some of our teens even chose to wear their earrings home!

If you liked the look of the Polymer Clay Earrings Workshop, keep an eye out for future creative workshops at Western Downs Libraries.  Bookings for workshops are available through the ‘What’s On’ tab of the Western Downs Libraries site.
